Never had that problem before and all settlements work fine, and i dont really care about being able to build up there really, just wanted to make some decoration which really aint important for me at all. I do have all the required materials and even tried taking them by hand, having them in my inventory, having them in the workshop and connecting a supply line just in case the game was having a hard time recognising my resources. Anyways, the point is that i can build crops and fences, tho i cant build junk fences. But i must point out that at some point i was able to build cause i did add a little sign made out of neon letters that says 'Companion's ville' just for fun. I cant place anything related to electricity either. I tried them all, wood, iron and concrete.

I just sent my companions there and have them all in there so its easier for me to find them later on, but now i wanted to build something in the roof just for fun and turns out i cant :/ДЄll structures like floors and stairs i cannot place for some reason. My build limit cant have been reached already cause. So the problem is that whenever i go to red rocket and try to build, i am limited to building certain structures.

Just saying this beforehand cause i've searched a lot and found lots of people saying its related to removing a building mod called snap something something and i've never used it so :P Only mod i use is the crude blowback mod, so i doubt its even related. First of all, no, I dont have any construction mods or ever had them.
